Missions

At The Table we are driven by our values as we engage global missions. Because of this we stress doing missions work through our relational communities. In Liberia, Mexico or here in Portland, we try to work through ministries we have long-term, ongoing relationships with. We also try to create missional opportunities where whole families can participate, whether that is in North Portland or a village in Mexico.

If you would like to know more about our philosophy of missions, or how you can become involved, contact Pastor Geoff at or (503) 381-9741.

Trips Planned for 2010:

Queretaro, Mexico

March 19-26, 2010

We will be returning to work with Fusion Ministries and Hispanics for Christ in the Queretaro area once again. We will be supporting their church planting work through sports, drama, children’s ministry and door to door evangelism. One day will be spent with the church we helped plant in 2008 in San Ildefonso, encouraging and supporting them. This trip is geared toward families as well as individuals. Team training will be on March 6th and 13th

Liberia, West Africa

April 2010

This trip is in the planning stage but will focus on delivering training based on the people available to go. We may spend some time helping Pastor Sanco work on his house which will eventually be our guesthouse. Planning for this will begin at our first meeting October 17th at the Stafford Campus.

Merida, Mexico

June/July 2010

We’ll work with Pastor Juan Tun and Hispanics for Christ doing evangelism in and around Merida.
