The Table

The purpose of No Reservations is to connect women with one another in a manner that reflects the core values of The Table:

No Reservations was prayerfully initiated by two women of The Table, who then invited representatives from each campus to seek God with them about how He might want to touch women from our church family. As our team formed, we quickly saw that women in general express and experience community in unique ways. We sensed that women of The Table seemed to share a need and longing for more of this kind of connection with others.

We also sensed Jesus prompting us to create space for relationships to form naturally, rather than developing a formal program. Our hope is that regular opportunities for women to connect with one another will eventually grow into mentoring and discipleship relationships. We are each designed in a unique way, and God has called us to a purpose to bring Him glory. We hope to encourage women to be part of helping other women identify and follow their God-given passions, use their gifts, and live a life of worship.

Our approach has been simple, focusing on No Reservations gatherings, planned and hosted by one of our campuses on a quarterly basis. At these gatherings we worship through song, story and community. The goal is to give women of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to come together, minister to one another, and be reminded of the Father's love for us. It's a chance to sit down and have a conversation with a sister and hear how God has been faithful to her.

Throughout this last year, and in some very powerful and tender ways, Jesus has continued to affirm what we originally sensed him saying: Women reflect His image in uniquely feminine ways. We hunger for relationship and connection with others in special ways too. For some of us the idea of meaningful relationships with other women is terrifying at worst, foreign at best. For others, by God's grace, we've found connection to other women essential to our life and walk with Christ.

As you come to this table, be it at a quarterly gathering, or future connecting opportunities Jesus leads us to create, we hope you will come with no reservations. We want you to come as you are. Whether you are discouraged, wounded, healing or content, you are invited to join in. Come, sit and enjoy!
