Rick Weber

Bio

I have served as Regional Minister for NAB Northwest (www.nabnw.com) since 2002 and lives in Vancouver, WA.   I work with regional leadership in the areas of developing leaders, transforming churches and multiplying congregations.  I served on staff at Parma Heights Baptist Church near Cleveland, OH (1984-1991), as pastor of First Baptist in Auburn, MI (1991-1994) and Sr. Pastor of Oak Hills Baptist, Sioux Falls, SD (1994-2001).

Annie and I have been married for 31 years and have two daughters.  Megan (Bryce) Clark owns Clark & Co., a design studio, and lives in Vancouver, WA.   Malarie (James) Capell is a stylist at Bouffant in SE Portland.

My personal mission statement and call is to “affirm and develop leaders who will transform established churches and multiply new congregations, effectively populating the kingdom of Heaven with new disciples.”  I love laughing with friends, refinishing old furniture, giving new life to discarded items, landscaping or grocery shopping and cooking with Annie.  I love ice cream and hear it crying my name whenever I pass the freezer.  (usually around midnight)

Emery, SD is where I grew up with thee siblings.  My parents still live in Emery, where they have been since 1931.  I dream of  moving back to my hometown of 498 people. To my dismay Annie does not share this dream but has clearly stated she will miss me when I move!

I desire a growing heart for God, the Church and leaders,  On most days I love my job.  I want to finish well as a Christ follower, remain a life-long learner and deeply love Annie and my family.
