Geoff Taylor
Story
I was born and raised in Portland, and I grew up loving Jesus and knowing him as my best friend. After graduating High School, however, I struggled to figure out what direction I wanted to go in life, and during my search I made the mistake of drifting away from God. A number of bad decisions led me down a path of empty addiction, and after about six years of an extreemely addictive lifestyle, Jesus rescued me from the rubble that I had made out of my life through the Teen Challenge ministry, a year long residential discipleship program for people with life controlling problems. After I graduated the T.C. program, I stayed there as an intern and on staff, which is when I met my amazing wife Holly. After only about a year from when we met we got married and embraced life together! There is way too much to our story to include in this paragraph, but we love to share what Christ means to us and tell what he has done in our lives if you’re curious and want to hear about it. The main thing is, we love and worship Jesus, our savior, with our whole heart and want him to always be the center of our attention. This is the attitude we try to serve him with in the Worship ministry at the Table, keeping Christ the center. It is our desire to see others fall deeply in love with Jesus, as we have, and to help people get involved ministering and using their God given gifts to worship him no matter where they are.
