The Table

Story

I grew up in the heartland of the US and was raised to know the Lord in a Catholic church. While I was raised in a Christian home, it really wasn't until a class for core credit in college that I really started to wrestle with the reality of my own relationship with Christ.  We have made our home in the Northwest for nearly 10 years, moving from Bozeman, MT to Seattle, WA, and eventually Portland.  My wife, Calyn, and I have been married 10 years, and have three young sons.  As an engineer and businessman, I enjoy learning, questioning, and growing, and believe that God calls us to live out our faith in real circumstances.  My faith has grown from much study, as well as witnessing how Christ changes lives.  I am excited and humbled about being an Elder at The Table and serving its Body.  Some of the ways I feel led to share and shephard are with families, marriages, and vocation.

Hobbies and Diversions

While I spend the majority of my free time having fun with the family.  I also enjoy skiing and biking.

Some of my reading pleasures mostly include geology (probably one of the top), history, and almost anything science related.
