Path

Having navigated various vocational seasons of life, I finally feel like I've finally landed a career. Out of high school I joined the Marine Corps with the intent of becoming a police officer in Seattle. Upon exiting the Corps however, I couldn't ignore the rigorous growth I had experienced as a Christian and decided to pursue youth ministry at Multnomah Bible College. But after discovering that I connected best with college age students, I changed my emphasis to Education. Having completed school, I found myself ministering to American military for a year in Germany with a mission organization called Cadence International. That time ended as I followed my heart back to Portland to make a covenant with Valaura Stanton. I then worked a couple of sales jobs before continuing my education at Multnomah Seminary. Finally, I transitioned from my part time job as a Driving Instructor to a full time position with The Navigators in Portland. It's been a long time in coming but I believe I've found my career path. Ask me about it.

Hobbies and Diversions

The books on my bookshelf are telling my interest in Bible/theology, discipleship, media, poetry, educational theory, and sociology. Though I like fiction, the genre is sparse on my shelves.

If coffee can be considered a pastime, then I'll admit to spending a fair amount of time in coffee shops drinking good coffee and growing coffee plants at home.

I run and work out mostly for my health these days and always enjoy the company of a running or workout partner.

I've been taking guitar lessons now for about a year and have seen some good progress from a foundation of basic chords.
